"The exhibition touched the viewer who felt my pain, love, and gentle humor. Viewers often told me that my characters seemed to know some kind of secret. But it is not really a secret, rather a kind of wisdom, an understanding that everything changes, everything passes, time goes on. This is why some of the characters hold clocks in their hands, and other characters are dolls that are no longer played with: the time has passed, the kid is all grown up. It is about understanding change, departing without clinging to what is already gone ... I wanted to create an image of a character that goes through change without losing humanity and without losing his dream."
